Playhouse Weekly Newsletter – September 11, 2020

Hello Playhouse Family!  
While this year is starting off a bit different, our goal remains the same~to support the Playhouse directors and students!
Huge thanks go out to Michelle Payne and Jeanine Piskurich for their time, energy, organization, and enthusiasm for our first dinner fundraiser at Los Tios!  As with everything in 2020, our patience and positivity are being tested so thank you to everyone for staying positive and being patient!  Los Tios was not prepared for what was about to hit them so while some things were out of our control, it was a HUGE success!!!

Have you joined?!?  If not, what are you waiting for!??  And if you happen to know of an SHS Family who is interested in the Playhouse, please encourage them to join our Booster Club!
Thank you to those for joining our first Zoom Booster Mtg!  We are focused and committed to continuing all traditions and events in supporting the Directors and Students! Our goal has not changed, but while the delivery could look different we will do everything possible to make sure these kids have a great year!

Attention Sophomore, Junior, and Seniors SHS Thespians

Dues are due TODAY, Monday, September 7th

Each returning thespian must pay $30.00 and each new inductee must pay $60.00. Please turn in dues (cash or check) along with the appropriate form (found on the Thespian FB page) to either the Majewski’s house or Leif’s house. Addresses are on the form.  Dues will not be accepted unless the Thespian form is included! If you don’t have a printer, contact Cameron or Reese so they can have a form printed for you to fill out when you go to drop off dues. If there are any other issues or concerns, contact Cameron or Reese. Checks are payable to Thespian Troupe #2215. Remember, everyone, MUST pay dues to remain a thespian. Thank you.

 2020-2021 Playbill Business Ad

Our productions are made possible with the support of our Playbill Ad Patrons. As with all non-profit organizations, our ticket sales cover only a portion of the production costs.To afford other costs such as printing playbills and show posters, securing rights, paying royalties, building sets, lighting, and sound/costume design, we must depend upon community patrons and contributors. In addition to helping support our efforts in bringing theatre productions to the community, your business will receive incredible exposure by advertising in our Playbill. Just this past season, we sold over 6,000 tickets despite producing only two of our three planned shows. In our upcoming 2020-21 season, your ad will be featured in all our Playbills for Nunsense, and Something Rotten.  Please note that this will be a year of transition for us as we tear down our existing auditorium to make room for a new, bigger, beautiful venue! Our shows will be held at Queensbury Theatre and Zilkha Hall at the Hobby Center. We hope you will continue as a valued Patron of our Theatre program.
