Playhouse Weekly Newsletter – September 28th

Hello Booster Club!  As we cruise into October, we have a few exciting events planned for this month!  A Playhouse Student gathering, Studio Movie Grill for The Drowsy Chaperone,
and our next Fundraiser To Go Dinner!!

October 9th – Playhouse Fun in the Park 3:30-5 p.m. 
 Nottingham Forest Club All Playhouse kids 9th-12th.  Games and ice cream will be provided.
Come out to reconnect with friends in a fun social distance kinda way.

October 13th – Studio Movie Grill 7 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Drowsy Chaperone showings. 
We are SO excited to finally have a firm date for the viewing of The Drowsy Chaperone at Studio Movie Grill.  Social Distancing with multiple theatres and venue protocols will be taken.  We are aware of the PSAT the following day.  But keep in mind, the show was only 1.5 hours long (with a 15 min intermission which we won’t have) so the kids will be home early!  Only Cast, Crew, & Orchestra from The Drowsy Chaperone will sign up, then Parents of those kids.  No siblings are allowed.  If we have extra space, we will open to others.  Details and Sign up genius will be posted soon.  Can’t wait!

October 15th- Booster Club Meeting
Brief meeting via Zoom at 7 pm. We will have a Director’s Update, discuss future fundraising opportunities, and just check in to say hi! Zoom meeting information will be sent closer to the meeting.

The rehearsal for SR starts next week. Emma Pappas posted the rehearsal schedule for Something Rotten.  Please have students check the Something Rotten Cast Facebook page.

Please join us for our Gala Kick-Off meeting on Monday, October 19th at 7:30pm! This meeting will be held virtually, and we will share the link in a future newsletter. Thanks so much to all who’ve signed up to help with Gala this year- it’s going to be an interesting but exciting year, and we couldn’t do it without you!! We would love any additional volunteers. This committee will help plan and execute Gala, and there is a role and need for every interest and talent. Committee members will sign up for an area they’d like to help with.
