BRAVO!!!  BRAVO!!!  BRAVO!!!

What an amazing FUN, EXCITING and ENTERTAINING Gala!!  MASSIVE KUDOS to Michelle Rigo, Betsy Humphrey, Christine Scott, and Traci Meadows for an ever-successful Gala!  When these ladies reached out to me back in the early Fall to pitch the Gala going online as an option, I was 100% on board!  BUT, the way it was managed far exceeded any expectation that was had! WOW!!  And to think it went off without a single technology nitch!!!  WOW WOW!!   Thank you for your time, diligence, flexibility, creativity, and positive energy for all of your efforts!  The term “I AM STRATFORD PLAYHOUSE” extends to EACH and EVERY member who has participated, volunteered, worked diligent hours towards the Playhouse to allow its top-quality endeavors to continue.

THANK YOU!!  What a fun event and I hope you all won some great items!!  I have to admit-the digital bidding was WAY too easy to get into trouble!!!  And it was FUN!!!!  THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Our first-ever Virtual Gala was a huge success!! We hope you all enjoyed the food, swag, fabulous entertainment, including looking back at the past, watching your amazing directors perform, and laughing at our hilarious emcee, Will Larrabee! And it wouldn’t have happened without our production and technology extraordinaire behind the scenes running everything on Zoom, Bethany Walker!! Of course, none of this would have happened without ALL of our selfless and talented volunteers, directors and students, and YOU! Thank you to each and every one of you for tuning in, for all of the positive feedback, and most of all for your incredible and generous support of our well-loved Playhouse! We will have financial results shortly, but we exceeded all of our goals, so THANK YOU!!!

Giving: We have two important ways that you can still give to the Playhouse. We are in great need after a tough year of canceled shows and drastically reduced ticket sales, so if you didn’t win the auction items you were going after, please still consider making a much-needed donation to the Playhouse. Make your donation here: rottengala2021.givesmart.com.

We are also still raising money for student scholarships. Please consider donating to this important cause and support our worthy students! https://e.givesmart.com/events/j2v/i/_All/cROz/?search=

We are thrilled that we sold almost every single auction item! We have one item left to sell for orthodontic treatment, a few signed Nunsense posters, a few spots to Candy’s Charcuterie Class (which will now be offered in-person OR via Zoom in May), and a few virtual experience spots for your rising theatre star! Let them learn tricks of the trade from some amazing Broadway stars and TV/movie celebrities! These are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for your student at amazing prices. There is extensive information about each person offering an experience, and you can read about and purchase all of these spots here- please check them out and consider participating- it is a great opportunity and a contribution to the Playhouse! Click here to see all available spots: https://e.givesmart.com/events/j2v/i/_Instant/.

We also still have many spots available for our Playhouse 101 for our 8th graders! Please share our site for middle schoolers to help them get plugged into this valuable Playhouse informational session for our upcoming freshmen: galaeighth.givesmart.com.
